Wild Cats Photography, based in Naples, Fla. was founded by Pete Garcia Cento in 1981 while attending Archbishop Curley Notre Dame High School in Miami, FL.
Pete Garcia Cento is a native of Havana, Cuba and grew up in West Palm Beach, Miami Shores, and North Miami, Fl. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism, Mass Communication and Photography from Florida International University and A.A. degree in Journalism from Miami-Dade College. Cento began his profession as an apprentice working with photographers in Southeast Florida while attending Archbishop Curley Notre Dame Prep School. He has been capturing life events and creating lasting memories for clients for more than 35 years.
After moving to Naples in the summer of 2009, Cento works as a photographer with realtors, property managers, general contractors, travel and tourism professionals. He also covers weddings, anniversaries, family reunions, baptisms, graduations, family gatherings and portraits. Cento also specializes in corporate events and fundraising events for not-for-profits & academia. He has documented disasters for the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency on more than 40 disasters from California to Massachusetts.

Cento’s photographic talent is customized for each subject matter. Commercially, his reputation for documenting natural disasters is highly regarded. His attention to detail and creativity is admired for portraiture and for product photography is widely respected. Cento has the talent and capability to put his subjects at ease while using his Sony digital SLR camera to capture a depth of personality not normally revealed on film. Cento’s product photography blends skill and photographic technique with an artist’s eye for shape, color and texture. His photographs combine a command of her medium with a sense of creativity, originality and innovation.
In his personal work, Pete Cento blends his background as a broadcast journalist, marketing, PR and social media expert with his vision as an artist to produce images of nature, the environment, beaches, landscapes, commercial real estate, Florida’s Everglades and nature in Southwest Florida that stimulate, haunt and provoke.
